CODE OF CONDUCT

The Club has implemented codes of conduct for all its stakeholders. Please make yourself familiar with the code as it applies to you as a player.

Always play by the rules.

Never argue with an official. If you disagree with a decision inform the captain, coach or manager.

Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials and sledging other players and deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent are not acceptable or permitted behaviours in any sport.

Work equally hard for yourself and/or your team.

Be a good sport and applaud all good plays whether they are made by your team of the opposition.

Cooperate with your coach, team manager, club officials and opponents.

Display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat.

Treat all players in your sport as you like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor.

Do not arrive at the field intoxicated or drink alcohol at junior matches.

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game, regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background.

Thank the opposition and official at the end of the game.

The Club has implemented codes of conduct for all its stakeholders. Please make yourself familiar with the code as it applies to you as a Spectator of Parent.

Don’t pressure your child in any way – this is their game, not yours.

Do not use bad language or harass players, coaches, officials or other spectators.

Encourage players to play within the rules and respect officials’ and coaches’ decisions – no matter what.

Teach players to respect the efforts of their opponents.

Children learn best by example so applaud good plays/performances by both teams.

For non-competitive teams, focus on the team’s efforts and performance – not the score.

Thank the coaches, officials and other volunteers who give their time to conduct the game of soccer.

Volunteer your services and help when asked by a coach or official.

Don’t ridicule or criticise any player’s performance after the game.

Do not arrive at the field intoxicated or drink alcohol at junior matches.

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game, regardless of their gender, ability or cultural background.
